"Great Minds I Think I Like" or "Comic Coincidences: One"
OK, so I read a lot of comic strips, and I've noticed a strange phenomenon from time to time. Occasionally, two cartoonists will have strips on the same topic on the same day. I've always found this highly amusing, and clip them for my collection. Without further ado here are a couple of favourites from my notebook...
October 21, 2001*. (l-r) Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz and Hi & Lois by Greg Walker, Brian Walker, and Chance Brown
MB sez: Not enough that they're both playing football, Snoopy and Ditto are both wearing old-school helmets without facemasks.

November 11, 2001. (l-r) Garfield by Jim Davis and Mother Goose and Grimm by Mike Peters
MB sez: Jon appears saner than someone for once.

February 10, 2001. (l-r) Drabble by Kevin Fagan and The Family Circus by Jeff and Bil Keane
MB sez: Two cartoons about cutting yourself shaving -- if this doesn't make you a believer, nothing will! Keep an eye on your local funnies page for more.

footnotes:
*This was actually a Classic Peanuts rerun** strip. I don't know offhand when it originally ran, and I don't care to hurt myself researching it. Probably the 70s.
