AN Adelaide[, Australia] man will escape drugs charges, despite dobbing himself in for growing cannabis at his house.

Police said the man had been targeted by thieves, who stole two cannabis plants from his house in Clearview, in Adelaide's north at 3am today.
He reported the theft after the offenders stole the plants by smashing a window of the house. The premises was targeted solely because of the drug, police said.

However, police said the homeowner was not charged with drug offences because there was no longer any evidence of the drug.
