Zzzzz.....

Ok, I'm about tired of daylight savings time. It's been half a week now and I'm still not adjusted. I've been dragging every day since the time changed and I'm hoping it comes to an end relatively quickly. It seems that by the time I finally adjust to the time change, the time changes again. Ah well, I'm likely never going to work up the nerve to move to Arizona or any of the other locales that have deemed DST to be obsolete. But that doesn't mean I can't complain. This concludes my first DST rant of the year. Stay tuned for my second and final, due in a few months.

And now... Even more stuff

As of tonight, people can now have the privilege of becoming members of the site. However, such membership currently has no perks. Except for the site knowing who you are, and reading "Hello <your name>!" But that's a start, isn't it? Neat Stuff(tm) will be coming soon. I promise. No, really, I'm serious this time.

Happy Easter!

It was brought to my attention that I don't post on here as often as I should. What have I been up to of late? Well, funny you should ask. More of the same. Work, home, work, home. Although today I plan to veg with a vengeance. It's gonna be great. I should probably post when I'm not falling asleep. Higher quality, more coherent stuff would likely result. So until next time, <insert clever catchphrase here>

More ramblings...

So Martha is out of prison. Or should I say, Martha is out of Club Med. It's highly doubtful that life in there was all that unpleasant, and it what, tripled the value of her stock? How bad is that? Well, anyways, that's unimportant. I've been trying with some success, though not so much recently, to break into full-time web development. I think the ball has begun rolling. I was approached about a rather sizeable job that should get me the cash I need in order to secure an apartment when I get married. Woo hoo!

Stuff and stuff

It's time for another installment of Rob's Life. Not much new has been going on in Rob's life lately, so don't think you've been missing out by my not posting much. I've been working a lot. Between work, computer, and tv -- oh, and occasionally, sleep, I haven't had or perhaps taken the opportunity to do much else.
Blah. I think of things to post and then when I actually get around to posting, I've got nothing. Maybe next time.
Signing off.

I live.

I was doing some cosmetic work on the site and realized it'd been quite a while since my last post. For those of you who may be aghast at the "not-quite" bubblewrap thing I've got going on, it's only intended to be temporary. However, as you likely already are aware, things often do not go as intended. The new color (or should I say, grayscale) scheme may or may not be temporary. I'm not sure why, but I very frequently get messages on AOL Instant Messenger from AOL System Msg notifying me that I am signed on in more than one location.

New Developments

I said I'd keep you posted, and in true me form, the news comes late. It's going to happen on May 7, 2005. Yes, folks, that's just a little more than 4 months away. Fear. As it happens, however, preparations are moving at a swift pace; in the past week we got the church, catering, wedding cake, photography, and maybe a couple other things that aren't coming to mind already lined up. I'm hopeful that everything's going to be cool.

Merry Christmas (only 2 days late)

Ok, so I haven't posted in over 2 months. That's going to change, and this time I really do mean it. It's been one ca-ra-zy weekend, and I, your humble servant, am here to report on the goings-on of my Christmas this year. Let's start with Christmas Eve. I had to work til 4pm, which I could have done without, given that I would have to drive an hour to get to my parents', where my girlfriend and I would be spending the holiday, and I would have liked the opportunity to get an early start.

I've done it again...

Ok folks, it seems that time and time again my hectic life (or is it my general tendency to forget just about everything? Perhaps it's a combination of the two) incites me to - well, neglect my duty to you the public. For this I apologize, and in my defense I have been contemplating ways to make the site more fun (like that'd take much doing) and maybe drum up some more traffic. Among the ideas I've been batting around is a Photoshopping image retouching gallery.

Lawyer: Suspect in La. Killings Retarded

Associated Press

BATON ROUGE, La. - A mental health expert has found Louisiana serial killings suspect Derrick Todd Lee to be mentally retarded, a lawyer said Tuesday in a new twist that could be used to try to spare Lee a possible death penalty.

Public defender Mike Mitchell made the announcement as jury selection continued for Lee's first-degree murder trial in the beating and stabbing death of 22-year-old Charlotte Murray Pace.
